A good 18th - 19th Century Indian sword Tulwar with a very interesting makers mark and a 31 inch curved blade. The grip, knuckle-guard and large disc pommel all made of iron. The blade has a makers mark near to the hilt showing a very unusual maker's cartouche, (please see photo). Blade is approx 31 inches long. The hand guard terminating with an animals head.This sword could be 18th century. A very unusual and interesting Indian sword with a nice clean blade showing this unusual blade mark. Overall length approx 37 inches. In good un-cleaned condition. Ref 3412.
