A fine American .44 calibre Civil War Period 6 shot Percussion Revolver made by Rogers & Spencer of Utica N.Y. The pistol retaining traces of original blued finish and in overall very good condition. The wood grips with some very minor wood chips to the bottom. Grip is stamped with civil war period inspectors marks. The top strap stamped with the makers name. Barrel length 7.5 inches. An excellent example of these popular revolvers that were carried towards the end of the American Civil War, Circa 1865. Overall length 14 inches. Ref 4270.
