A highly decorative Belgian 7mm double-action 6 shot pin-fire revolver of unusual action, by Comblain. Circa 1865. The highly decorative cylinder and 4 inch octagonal barrel retaining most of its original blueing. The frame engraved with a floral design and marked with the gun-makers name Comblain. Hubert Joseph Comblain had a workshop in Brussels circa 1832-1877. Belgian proof mark ELG stamped on the cylinder. Very fine two piece black grips embossed with floral motifs. The lever to right side of frame unlocks the barrel and it all slides forwards for loading/unloading. Good working action. In excellent condition retaining much original blueing. A fine example of a very unusual action Belgian blued pinfire revolver of exceptional quality. Ref 4191.
