A scarce Remington-Elliot 4 barrelled ring trigger Derringer in obsolete .32 rimfire calibre, circa 1865-1875. Steel frame with barrel group that pivots downwards to open. Small sliding lever on the underside of frame for opening. The barrel engraved to one side "Manufactured by E. Remington & Sons. Ilion N.Y". the other side marked " Elliot's Patents May 29 1860.- Oct 11th 1860". Obsolete calibre .32 Rim-fire. Condition is reasonably good with some signs of genuine wear and use. Action works fine. Overall length approx 5 inches. Ref 8425.
