A scarce French officer's Military Flintlock Pistol of the Napoleonic Period. Circa 1790-1815. Plain steel lockplate. Gilt brass trigger guard, butt-cap, sideplate and forend cap. 8.5 inch steel barrel. Overall length 14.5 inches. A very nice example of a French military Flintlock pistol of the type carried during the Napoleonic wars and used at the battle of Waterloo in June 1815, and during the very famous Peninsular campaigns against the British.
This is an obsolete antique pistol and is sold as a collector’s item only.
