X X X SOLD X X X 6 shot double action pin-fire revolver with embossed Lion grips. Ref 1608.
A good 11mm six shot single & double action antique pin-fire revolver with fabulous Lion embossed grips. Circa 1865. Engraved frame, cylinder and trigger guard. Swing-up loading gate with spring loaded catch. Octagonal 6 inch barrel. Side mounted ejector rod. Heavily embossed grips with a lion amid foliage on both sides. Liege proof mark stamped on the cylinder. The action in good working condition. Very tiny chip to bottom of grip and some loss of colour to metalwork, otherwise in very good overall condition. Length 10.5 inches. Ref 1608.
