A nice clean example of an English percussion Pocket pistol circa 1840. Engraved on one side plate "Jno. Jones & Son" and engraved "London" on the other side. The screw off barrel stamped underneath with 3 proof marks. This is the type of pistol that would have been carried in a pocket or a saddle bag during the 19th century by an English gentleman, traveller, or officer as a personal protection weapon Condition is very good. Overall length 6 inches.
This is an obsolete antique pistol and is sold as a collectors item only.
