A good post Napoleonic Period Military Flintlock Pistol of large calibre approx .73 Cal. Circa 1810-1820. Known as sea-service Flintlock pistols, these were carried by both Naval and military personnel during the late 18th/early 19th century. Typical military brass trigger guard, forend cap and butt-cap mounted with a steel lanyard ring. 9 inch barrel. In well used condition showing some genuine use and wear. A crack to the wood just before the forend cap and an old repair to the side of stock. Action in good working order. Overall length approx 15.5 inches. Ref 9907.
