A fine large calibre Belgian 6 shot double action 11 mm pin-fire revolver with a blued cylinder, Circa 1865. This pistol's finely engraved cylinder retaining much of its original finish. Decoratively embossed two piece grips terminating to a lanyard ring to the butt. Liege proof marks to the cylinder. The breech stamped with Lefaucheux Brevete. 6.5 inch barrel. The action in good working condition. The cylinder retaining most of it's original blueing and the barrel still retaining some of its original blueing. Overall length 12 inches. Many of these large calibre pin-fire revolvers were imported into the USA during the American civil war (1861-1865). Ref 3491.
