A very scarce under-hammer 6 barrelled Mariette style ring-trigger Percussion pepper-box revolver. Manufactured in Liege circa 1835-1850. The 6 screw-off barrels individually numbered 1 to 6. The flash-guard has an opening cut into the right hand side to place the percussion caps upon the nipples. Action works fine. Very good untouched worn condition with an old crack in one grip. Calibre approx 11mm. Overall length approx 7.5 inches. Ref 4524. A very scarce early type.
