A very scarce American XL No 2 1/2  .32 calibre rimfire revolver manufactured by Hopkins & Allen. Circa 1871. The top strap engraved HOPKIS & ALLEN MFG CO XL No 6 PAT MAR 23 1871. 1.5 inch octagonal barrel. Spur trigger and two wooden piece grips. In overall good condition. Action in good working order. These rimfire revolvers are now getting very difficult to find. Ref 4603.
