A very scarce 17th/18th Century plug bayonet with an unusual flamboyant blade. Turned wooden hilt, short iron cross-guard and complete in its original brass mounted leather scabbard. Blade length 6 inches. Overall length 11 inches. Very good condition. Ref 9288.
