A very rare double barrelled percussion HOWDAH PISTOL made by WESTLEY RICHARD. Circa 1840 -1850. The barrels are engraved on top ''WESTLEY RICHARDS LONDON''. Calibre is approx .75 cal. Good working order with very strong springs. These HOWDAH PISTOLS ARE NOW GETTING VERY HARD TO FIND. Overall length approx 14 inches Ref 4487.
