A very long Balkan or Greek Miquelet Flintlock pistol. Elaborate silver decoration. Rat-tail shaped
A very long scarce Greek Miquelet Flintlock pistol. Elaborate silver decoration. Rat-tail shaped butt. Early 19th century. The silver stock heavily decorated with elongated silver studs and decorative scrolling. The rat tail butt and trigger guard also embellished with silver studs. Overall length 20 inches. This pistol is larger and heavier than most we have seen of this type. In excellent condition. The lock is not in full working order. Ref 8989.
