A scarce CIVIL WAR ERA double-action 6 shot 10 mm pin-fire revolver of the type carried during the U.S. Civil war Circa 1865. The 5 inch barrel with foresight and steel ejector rod to the right side. Nickel plated frame with some wear and lifting to the plating, the two piece fancy embossed grips secured with a central screw. Swing up loading gate. Belgian proof marks to the cylinder. Action in working order. A few dings and scratches to the frame during it's working life. This type of pin-fire revolver is known to have seen use during the last year of the American civil war (1865). Overall length 10 inches. Ref 4276.
