A Very Scarce American Moore's patent front Loading Teat-Fire .32 rimfire revolver. Circa 1864-1870. The 3.25 inch barrel engraved MOORE'S PAT FIRE-ARMS CO. BROOKLYN.N.Y. The brass silver plated frame engraved with decorative scrolling. The cylinder engraved D. Williamson's Patent January 5th 1864. Overall length 7 inches. The action in good working order. Showing very little sign of use or wear during it's working life, in good overall condition. This model revolver was also known to have been carried during the latter part of the American Civil War circa 1864-1865. Ref 3886.
