A scarce American .30 cal Rim-fire tip-up, 5 shot pocket Revolver circa 1872. Action very crisp. The side of barrel marked with the makers name "J. Marlin. New Haven, Ct. USA. July 1st 1873". The top of the barrel marked "XXX Standard 1872". The wooden grips are in nice original condition. The whole pistol is in very good condition. Very crisp extremely tight action. This pistol still has around 75% of the original nickel plated finish. A nice addition to any gun collection. Ref 4241.
