A rare Napoleonic era British military Flintlock officer’s pistol. These pistols were the standard sidearm for all British officers during the Napoleonic campaigns of the late 18th, early 19^th century. All parts are original and of the period, The rammer is a captive swivel type used by cavalry regiments, the lock-plate is engraved with a large crown & GR for George 111, Skull-crusher butt-cap. Condition is fair with a few minor dings from normal use. An old repair to the woodwork underneath the rammer. Some old damage at the lock-plate.  A rare pistol, Length 15 inches.  Ref 2888.
