A very good pair of high quality half-stocked Flintlock saw-Handled Duelling pistols made by W PARKER of London, circa 1790-1810. Complete in their original mahogany case with correct W. Parker paper trade label in the lid, cloth interior slightly faded in the lid, but complete and original. Copper powder flask, the top of the case is fitted with a Brass D ring handle. Gold inlaid at the breech with the lettering "W Parker, Holborn, London". The barrels engraved on top "Gun Maker To His Majesty". Silver inlaid front sight and silver escutcheons fitted to the side of each stock. The pistols are both fitted with set triggers. Very good overall condition. A nice honest set of authentic English Flintlock Duelling pistols. The barrels are 9.75 inches long. Length of pistols 15 inches. Case size is 19 x 9 x 3 inches. Ref 9927.
