CHINESE DAGGER. - A rare and interesting 19th century Chinese or Tibetan fighting dagger. Single edged 10 inch very strong steel blade with small shaped oblong iron cross guard. Shaped iron pommel, grip bound with fish skin. Complete in its scabbard, also covered with fish skin. The scabbard with 2 plain brass mount. Probably brought back to the UK after the Boxer Rebellion circa 1899-1901.
Blade length 10 inches. Overall length in scabbard 17 inches.
 Well used untouched & undamaged condition. Ref 1739.
