A rare Russian Cossack percussion military Pistol. The plain wooden stock fitted with a single iron barrel band, the barrel stamped at the breech with a Liege proof mark. Circa 1830- 1850. Barrel length 12.5  inches. Overall length 18 inches. Small crack to the woodwork on the opposite side to the lock. The barrel of approx .62 calibre. Very good condition showing hardly any signs of use. Action in working condition with a strong spring. Ref 4257.
