A very rare 17th century powder horn of the type sometimes referred to as a musketeer's flask. The flask body and charger is made completely of horn with a wooden base plug and a brass lever and carrying ring. The flask is approximately 9 inches in length. The spout, lever, spring and cut off are all in very good working condition. This is an excellent example of its type. Good condition. Ref 2471.
