A large .65 cal Flintlock Pistol made by Smith of London. Circa 1790. Dating from around the time of the Napoleonic Wars. Circa 1795-1815. The lock-plate engraved with the makers name Smith. The 6 inch Octagonal barrel engraved LONDON on top and stamped with British proof marks. Decorative steel trigger-guard and ramrod pipe. Overall length 11 inches. Action in good crisp working order. A small crack to the fore-end otherwise in good condition showing little sign of wear. Ref 1581.
