A Highly decorative 19th century sword. Possibly for presentation to an eastern dignitary. The hilt and matching brass scabbard inlaid with various coloured stones (some now missing). The crossguard also inlaid with stones and with 2 Lions head terminals. Plain double edged blade is 29 inches in length. Overall length in scabbard is 36 inches. This is an extremely unusual sword and we understand that it is a 19th century copy of a royal sword in the Tower of London. Ref 6104.
