A good English flintlock pocket pistol made by "Wright" of London and engraved with the makers name on the side-plate and the word "LONDON" on the other side. The pistol has a drop down folding trigger and a screw-off barrel. Sliding top safety. Very crisp action in perfect working condition. Plain wooden slab-sided butt. One screw in the butt is a replacement. Overall length 6.5 inches. Manufactured circa 1780-1800. A nice honest example of a Gentleman's Flintlock pocket pistol dating from the Napoleonic era. Good condition. Ref 7323.
