An English brass barrelled Flintlock pistol by made by DUNDERDALE MABSON & LABRON. Circa 1807-1821. The lock plate engraved with the makers name Dunderdale Mabson & Labron. They had a work shop at 25 Russell Street, Birmingham between 1807 and 1821. 8 inch octagonal heavy brass barrel stamped with two British proof marks. Brass trigger guard terminating with an acorn finial and two brass ramrod pipes. Brass tipped wooden ramrod. Action in good working order. One screw head broken (please see photo) and some minor blemishes & scratches to the woodwork otherwise in good condition. Overall length 14 inches. Ref 2297.
