A good 18-19th Century Indian sword PULWAR with a plain steel hilt of traditional form. Down drooping steel cross-guard with animal head terminals. Fitted with a large shaped disc pommel. The blade approx 31 inches long. Cut- back spear point blade. A very plain but good well made old sword. Overall length 37 inches. In good well used untouched condition. No blade markings. Ref 1700.
