A fine Queen ELIZABETH the Second British Diplomatic sword or Court sword, manufactured by Wilkinson sword circa 1953-1980, complete in its correct black leather scabbard with brass mounts. Large brass shell guard. The hilt in traditional court sword form with shell guard and brass pommel. The double edged blade approx 32 inches long and etched on both sides with the Royal crest E11R & Royal crown above. The blade also etched at the forte with the Wilkinson sword maker’s mark. Overall length in scabbard 38 inches. Complete with its outer black waterproof carrying case & the correct gold wire sword knot. The strap to close waterproof carrying case is missing, otherwise sword and scabbard are in excellent as new condition. (See also a different type of Diplomatic sword on our website Ref 3493). This sword is like new and has seen hardly any use at all and would be perfect to wear for anyone attending official ceremonies. Ref 3543.
