An American Civil War Era Cooper's patent 6 shot pocket model .31 Calibre Percussion revolver with 4 inch barrel. The side of barrel marked "KITTREDGE, CIN O". (This is a marking for Benjamin Kittredge of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was one of Samuel Colt's major distributors and marked some of the firearms that he supplied, this is one of them.)
The barrel engraved on top "Cooper Firearms Mfg co. Frankford Phila Pa. Good overall condition and working order, showing very little signs of use. The cylinder and barrel retaining much original blued finish. Overall length is approx 9 inches. This is a revolver that was quite possibly carried during the American Civil War 1863-1865. Ref 9221.
