A rare Cased Pair of English flintlock Pistols, maker "Mortimer" Circa 1780- 1800. Each pistol is engraved on the side-plate with the makers name "H. W. Mortimer, London". The other side-plate of each pistol is engraved "Gun Maker To His Majesty". The whole set is in very fine condition. Complete in a later wooden travelling case with accessories, including a small size leather covered powder flask, Bullet mold and steel barrel key. The turn-screw is a later replacement. The pistols are approximately 5.5 inches in length. The box is 11 x 6 x 2.5 inches. A rare opportunity to acquire such a rare pair of fine Flintlock pistols made by the famous H.W. Mortimer - Gun maker to the British Royal Family. Ref 7382.
