An English.36 percussion bar-hammer 6 shot pepperbox revolver by Stanton & Son. Circa 1846-1850. Engraved on the side of the nickel silver frame Stanton & son and to the other side Chester. Stanton & Son were gun-makers in Chester circa 1846-1850. Action in excellent working order. The 3 inch barrel stamped with British proof marks. Two piece wooden grips. (One of the grips has a small crack along it). The pistol approx 8 inches overall. Action in good working order. Some signs of use and wear. Ref 4026.
