Description
Antique Silver Mounted Turkish Shamshir sword with its correct matching silver mounted scabbard. 19th Century. The hilt made of horn with silver cross-guard and back strap. Overall length in scabbard 38 inches. No major damage except the bottom scabbard chape is slightly split and both hanging rings are missing, the cloth scabbard covering also worn in parts, otherwise in reasonably good original condition. Blade length 30 inches. Ref 8914.
