A rare type of South Indian spiked axe. Probably 18th-19th century. The blade covered overall with inlaid silver decoration and overlaid with additional decoration in the form of raised flowers. The blade length approx 5 x 3 inches. Complete with its original wooden shaft inlaid with brass decorated rivets holding the tang in place. Overall length 26 inches. Good untouched condition. Ref 8093.
