A very long German single shot percussion pistol. The makers name engraved to the lock-plate DAVNER BIBERACH. Circa 1720-1750. Probably converted to percussion circa 1835. The 12.5 inch barrel engraved and inlaid in Brass at the breech. The side plate engraved with two monster heads. The lock and trigger guard with floral engraving. Calibre approx. 54 cal. Overall length is 20 inches. Good condition and working order. Ref 3885.
