A Scarce Balkan or Turkish Flintlock pistol with embossed Silver and brass mounts. Circa 1800-1830. Manufactured in the Balkan area with a good quality steel barrel. This pistol is much better quality than most Balkan area pistols that we see. The stock and barrel with much inlaid silver decoration. Brass butt-cap, trigger-guard and side-plate. Inset with coral. Circa 1800-1830. Overall length 21 inches. Shows signs of normal use, some dings and scratches, two cracks in stock just in front of the Trigger-guard, otherwise in reasonably good condition. Ref 3325.
