A scarce double barrelled American Arms Co .41 rimfire Derringer. Circa 1866-1878. The 2.5 inch barrels marked American Arms Co. Boston Mass on one barrel and on the other barrel Pat. Oct. 31.1865-June.19.1866. The barrels rotate for loading by pulling back the lever in front of the trigger. Two piece wooden grips. Overall length 6 inches. Action in working order. Some staining to the frame and signs of use during it's working life. A very scarce item. Ref 4240.
