A scarce American .41 calibre double Barrelled rim-fire derringer Pistol, made by The American Arms Company Boston, Mass and engraved with their name on the top of the barrels. Circa 1870. Plain walnut grips, spur trigger, barrels twist over to load.  Good condition and in working order. Overall length 6 inches. A fine  example of the type of double barrelled pistol carried in the USA for personal protection at the end of the 19th century and by a scarce maker. Ref 4261.
